Aria Privacy Policy
Aria is an executive assistant agent built by Capri Greenlee. It works on one Google account, one Slack workspace and one GitHub repository that its operator owns. It is not offered to the public, and no one else can sign in to it.
What Aria accesses
With the account owner's permission, Aria uses these Google scopes:
- Gmail (
gmail.modify): to read messages in the inbox, apply labels, archive messages, and send replies from that account. - Google Calendar (
calendar.events): to read events and to create or update events on that account's calendar.
Aria also posts and reads messages in the operator's own Slack workspace.
How the information is used
Aria uses this information only to triage the inbox, check the calendar against what was agreed by email, propose replies and calendar changes, and report to the people running it. Anything beyond a short list of routine actions waits for a person's approval.
To decide what to propose, Aria sends the text of new messages and calendar entries to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic processes it under its own commercial terms and privacy policy.
What is stored
Aria keeps a record of the actions it proposes and takes, and of the approvals it receives, in the project's GitHub repository. It keeps no other copy of mail or calendar data.
Sharing
Aria does not sell, rent or share Google user data. It does not use it for advertising and does not use it to train AI models. Data goes only to the services listed above, as needed to run.
Aria's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
The account owner can revoke Aria's access at any time from the Google Account page, under Security, Third-party apps with account access. Records in the repository can be deleted on request.
